On September 19, Professor Katy Couripe (Illustration and Printmaking, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, ENSAD Paris), together with Mr. Morgan Fraisse-Laszlo (Cultural Attaché) and Ms. Sasha Ting (Vice Attaché de cooperation scientifique et univerisitaire) from the French Office in Taipei, visited Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA). They were warmly received by TNUA President Prof. Hsichuan Liu, Dean of the Office of International Affairs Prof. Yatin Lin, Section Chief of International Cooperation Prof. Louise Yang, and Section Chief of International Education and Research Prof. Chiahui Chen, and toured the School of Fine Arts and the Art and Technology Center.

During the exchange, both sides engaged in fruitful discussions on the characteristics of art education, curriculum design philosophies, and approaches to student creativity. The ENSAD delegation also shared perspectives on pedagogical differences between European and Asian institutions, and conversations extended to potential collaboration on student exchanges and joint programs. ENSAD students expressed a strong interest in studying at TNUA, while it was noted that language remains a challenge for TNUA students wishing to apply for exchange opportunities at ENSAD. TNUA hopes that more students in the future will take up this opportunity to experience Parisian art education firsthand.

This visit not only fostered academic and cultural dialogue but also marked an important step toward deepening institutional ties. TNUA looks forward to expanding international perspectives and continuing to play a forward-looking, leading role in the field of arts education.
