Before becoming an art consultant, Ms. Gladys Lin, Artistic Director of Gladys Lin Project, worked at EVA Air and Taiwan High Speed Rail, gaining nearly a decade of professional experience. With such a solid foundation—ten years in the making—her career journey is a story well worth exploring.
On September 15 at noon, the Office of International Affairs invited Ms. Lin to campus for a Career Sharing Seminar, where she shared her professional journey with students. The event attracted over thirty participants from various departments, with students from the Fine Arts Department showing extreme enthusiasm.

During her talk, Gladys emphasized that artists should maintain a certain sense of mystery, rather than constantly exposing themselves on social media. At the same time, she encouraged students to maintain a regular creative practice while also daring to explore new possibilities.
This seminar not only provided students with valuable insights into the diverse career paths within the arts but also inspired them to reflect on how passion and persistence shape an artist’s growth. We hope that all participants carry forward this energy—keeping their creative fire alive and writing the chapters of their youth through art.

Looking ahead, the university will continue to organize similar career-focused events, fostering opportunities for dialogue between professionals and students, and supporting young talents as they prepare to enter the global creative industries.
